Patricia & Nathan

Patricia and Nathan were married in early April, in the gorgeous Himeji Gardens. It was my first wedding there and I fell in love. It was so hard to believe that we were about a minute’s walk from South Terrace!

Their wedding was very intimate and full of emotion. I really enjoyed getting to know the couple, who met in the Netherlands through work. I felt very privileged to be able to share their wedding day and meet their lovely families.

A little bit of trivia: the lovely Dena, whose wedding I photographed in August last year, created the bouquets for my own wedding in December. In about November, Dena and Patricia met as colleagues, and in the process discovered they shared a wedding photographer! Dena, of course, created Patricia’s gorgeous flowers. I have a weakness for organic, natural bouquets…and this one was just amazing, with the beautiful violet and indigo colours blending perfectly with the navy-blue silk bridesmaid’s dress.
